No audition is required. You will need moderate sight-reading skills, but no formal qualifications. Vacancies can occur at any time, so we are always pleased to hear from interested players.

We rehearse on Monday evenings, 7:15–9:30 during term time, at Roding Valley High School (near Loughton Underground Station). Refreshments and disabled facilities available.

Anyone is welcome to come along to a few rehearsals on a trial basis, to see if they like the orchestra and are able to play the music. We are on the lookout especially for string & brass players.
