The Roding Players Orchestra was founded in 1991 by local music teachers Paul Servis and Tim Litchfield. They wanted to provide a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for local amateur musicians to make music together. The group included a number of school and college students and teachers, and many of the original members form the core of today’s orchestra.
